'Sarthak Vani', - a bi-monthly magazine published by consumer organisation VOICE, and supported by Science and Society Division of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

The Hindi publication focuses on:

1.	Science & Technology inputs for rural women (how women can employ better agriculture techniques, adopt food safety and food processing activities, and improve the quality of their daily lives in general),
2.	health and child care,
3.	environment, and
4.	self-employment opportunities for women.

Sarthak Vani is a public-interest initiative and the magazine has no subscription charges. VOICE reaches 'Sarthak Vani' to readers across the country, on payment of just the postal dispatch cost. Sarthak Vani is one of the very few magazines in India which is exclusively for rural women, and which aims to keep women informed of environment, development and health issues.
