10/29/2014 VOICE Kisan Goshthi on Organic Farming and reduction of Pesticides Campaign at Fateh pur Satbari <div align="justify"> VOICE organised “Kisan Goshthi”as a part of VOICE Green Campaign for the farmers of Rajpur Village in Delhi on 29.10.2014with support from Consumer International. <br> <br> </div> <div align="center"><iframe width="100%" height="450" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/JTD0z35fXxw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <br> <br> </div> <p align="justify">The aim of the campaign was to make farmers aware about the ill effects of the pesticides/chemical Fertilizer and encourage them to adopt organic farming as an alternate to chemical intensive farming being followed currently. The Main Emphasis of today's meet with farmers was to spread awareness about healthy food through organic farming and specifically among women of farmers families for a multiplier effect With Informative pamphlets,colorful posters and attractive banners -- all in local language "HINDI" VOICE team of experts ensured active participation of more than 80 farmers and took pain to answer their various queries.</p> <p align="justify">At the end of the “Kisan Goshthi” organic seeds were also distributed to encourage farmers.</p>

10/21/2014 VOICE Kisan Goshthi on Organic Farming and reduction of Pesticides Campaign at Thokar Village for farmers on 21st OCT <div align="justify"> VOICE organised &#8220;Kisan Goshthi&#8221; as a part of VOICE Green Campaign for the farmers of Thokar Village situated in Yamuna Khadar on 21.10.2014 in Delhi with support from Consumer International. <br> <br> </div> <div align="center"><iframe width="100%" height="450" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/npJZap_SOSU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <br> <br> </div> <p align="justify">This village is a temporary settlement which is vacated during rainy season.The aim of the campaign was to make farmers aware about the ill effects of the pesticides and encourage them to adopt organic farming as an alternate to chemical intensive farming being followed currently.About 100 farmers actively participated in this &#8220;Kisan Goshthi&#8221;inspite of the fact that they were all illiterate and asked various questions which were answered by VOICE.</p> <p align="justify">At the end of the “Kisan Goshthi” organic seeds were also distributed to encourage farmers.</p>
