VOICE Society has recently conducted a study on the Consumer's Perception of Quality of Services of Insurance Companies in India as part of the Comparative Product Testing Project sanctioned by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India. The findings of the Study were published in our May-June 2006 Issue of Consumer Voice Magazine

As there are a number of interesting findings in this report, it is proposed to hold a Workshop at India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi on October 9, 2006 in which officials from the IRDA, Ombudsman Offices, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Health, Development Agencies and all the leading Insurance Companies would participate. Hon'ble Justice M. B. Shah, (Rtd. Judge Supreme Court), President, National Consumers Disputes & Redressal Commission (NCDRC) has kindly consented to inaugurate the Workshop. We also expect Union Cabinet Ministers and officials from the Planning Commission to also attend the inaugural and closing sessions.
