VOICE- Voluntary Organisation in the interest of Consumer Education- is a vibrant and proactive voluntary consumer action group. Its objective is to protect and promote the interests of the consumers. VOICE networks with more than 250 organisations in more than 150 countries. The Group aims at not only making the consumer conscious of the malpractices perpetuated in the market-place, but also creating awareness in an organized manner to mobilize public opinion in favour of the consumer in order to overcome the helplessness of the individual consumer.

It works towards informing the consumer of his/her rights, and motivating him/ her to demand value for money in a global competitive market. VOICE has always taken the leadership with the consumer organisations globally on tobacco related issues and has made a visible achievement in exposing the misdeeds of the tobacco industry at the national, regional and international level.
