We thought, we would like to share “other” kind of space with you. Take you out of the markets and malls, away from the TVs and phones and ease you out into a close encounter with Nature.
What else is a garden in
a cityscape but an effort to stay close
to happy, colourful seasonal shifts in nature?
To spend time in a garden is to spend time with
itself also. For many of us it is a survival strategy
in the stress driven city space. It is an effort
to create beauty around your work or home space.
We also realized that mental adjustments had to
be made if one wants to bring gardens into cramped,
high-rise city habitations. We also almost simultaneously
realized that the market has appropriated this
space so much as any other space in our lives.
The industry around the non- existent, miniscule
garden activity is intensive as well as expansive
and expensive- but we will try to keep that to
the minimum. We will also try to contain a garden
in few pots, in a tray, in a small bed, within
the handkerchief-sized space in front of urban
homes, office windows, sills roof tops or wherever
you are growing one.
Talk to us, mail us, and share with us the joys and travails of a garden enthusiast. We have to build a network of people who love gardening and have green fingers or thumbs :-):-):-):-)
