World Day of Remembrance (WDR) for Road Safety in Himachal Pradesh

Our state partner Himachal Upbhokta Sanrakshan Parishad organised the Walk for better roads on World Day of Remembrance at Dharmshala, Himachal Pradesh on November 19, 2016.The Chief Guest Shri Rajinder Jaswal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dharamshala arrived and flag off the rally.

Around 300 students including NCC students and teachers attended the event. The students and other participants holding banner containing road safety materials and shouting slogans like demand for better road etc., start their walk from Shaheed Samarak the rally goes to the Kotwalli Bazaar, and ends at the Govt. Boys Senior Secondary School, Dharamshala.

Principal and Vice Principal of the School were also addressed the participants and requested them to support this noble cause and impressed upon the participants to spread this message to the entire citizen.
