M.A.U. Khan, Technical Adviser to VOICE since 2005, is an M.Tech in Chemical Technology from H.B.T.U Kanpur. He was the all India Chief of Certification Activities of Bureau of Indian Standards and during his long stint of 37 years in BIS he headed various departments including Director Vigilance. He was mainly responsible for the formulation of around 400 National Standards (IS) on various petroleum products like gasoline (petrol), LPG, diesel fuel and lubricants such as IC engine oil and gear oil etc. He also worked for about 5 years as member consumer court at Karkadooma Delhi, authorizing over BSES Yamuna Power Limited (popularly known as Bijali Adalat).
